Which Air Conditioning Systems are best for you?

SPLIT SYSTEM AIR CONDITIONERS
Split systems will air condition one room or an area of your home and are available in Reverse Cycle (providing heating in winter and cooling in summer) or Cooling Only. At Glenelg Air, we can provide you with a Daikin Split system, which comes in a wide variety of sizes.
Single Wall Split System Air Conditioning
A neat, unobtrusive wall mounted unit, which blends with its surroundings and has a separate outdoor unit. Powerful, yet quiet and kind on energy costs.
Multi Split System Air Conditioning
These can air condition from two to seven rooms using only one outdoor unit. A Multi Split system is ideal for when there is insufficient ceiling space for ducting or limited space for an outdoor unit to be installed.
Floor Standing Units
Compact and ideal for being positioned closer to the floor and can even be semi-recessed into the wall.
DUCTED AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS
At Glenelg Air, we are experts in the design and installation of ducted Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning. We use Australia’s leading supplier of innovative and award winning air delivery systems, Ductair. A fully ducted Reverse Cycle air conditioning system can provide you with climate controlled comfort all year round throughout your new or existing home. The indoor unit (Fan Coil) is usually placed in your roof space or under the floor, with flexible ductwork distributing conditioned air through air vents located through out the house, while the outdoor unit (Compressor) is installed outside the house. These systems can operate in two or more zones, which can be controlled at different times. This means that you can cool/heat the living areas during the day, then the bedrooms at night, saving money on energy costs.
EVAPORATIVE AIR CONDITIONING
Evaporative systems use water cooled fresh air and can replace all the air in your house in a matter of minutes. These systems are ideal for those who suffer from allergies, or just want fresh cool air.
